Material Used – Ascale Onice White Sintered Stone, Caesarstone Wyndigo Mineral & BStone Florentine Quartz
We were delighted to work once again with our friends at Daniel Ramsay Kitchens on this breathtaking project set within a beautiful farm in Harpenden. Designed to honour the property’s heritage while elevating it with modern luxury, this large open-plan kitchen and living space features three distinctive stones, each chosen for its personality to bring warmth and elegance to the home.
A Kitchen Island Anchoring the Space
The centrepiece of the project is the stunning kitchen island, finished in the exquisite Ascale Onice White. Inspired by the ethereal beauty of natural onyx, this surface showcases a radiant white backdrop interwoven with delicate golden veining. Its luminous, pure appearance brings a refined sophistication to the room, allowing light to bounce beautifully across the open-plan setting.
The stone was used for both the island worktop and the main kitchen run, as well as the splashbacks and floating shelf, creating a showstopping flow throughout the space. It’s a seamless blend of luxury and harmony.
A Warm & Welcoming Breakfast Bar
To complement the striking white and gold tones of the island, the breakfast bar is finished in the earthy and calming Caesarstone Wyndigo. Positioned on a slightly lower level, this section of the island creates a thoughtful variation in height – perfect for casual dining and family moments. The waterfall end allows the warm gradients and soft greige tones to cascade gracefully to the floor.
The foamy grey veining and grounded warmth add depth to the design, creating the most wonderful contrast while maintaining harmony across the space.
A Luxurious Drinks Dresser
Completing the trio of stones, the drinks dresser features the elegant BStone Florentine across its worktop, floating shelves, and splashback.
This warm white marble-inspired surface, with its soft golden and light grey veins, brings serenity and timeless class to the area. It ties together the golden accents found throughout the rest of the kitchen.
