For this elegant Barnet renovation, our team had the pleasure of transforming a modern kitchen space with the breathtaking and modern Horizon Stone Calacatta Dorato quartz. This luxurious surface features a crisp white background enriched with bold, river-like veining that immediately captures attention. Its striking patterning brings movement and personality to the heart of the home.
Chosen not just for its beauty, but also its practicality, Calacatta Dorato allows homeowners to express their creativity, and this was a key reason our client fell in love with the material.
This project included several standout features – the first one was a statement island that takes centre stage in the open-plan space with an additional overhang for social seating. The sweeping veining of the quartz flows beautifully across the island, creating a cohesive visual anchor for cooking, entertaining, and everyday living.
We added a full-height splashback to the sink run, where the continuous flow of colour and veining adds depth and luxury. One of our favourite details was the cold shelf hidden inside the breakfast pantry.
