Material Used – Caesarstone Primordia Quartz

We were lucky enough to work with this client in Cottered in a renovated barn. This little village is a picturesque location and we were more than excited to get stuck into this new project. Look at those high ceilings!

Our clients booked a showroom appointment where they looked around a few different materials. We found out their ultimate style and what would work well in their renovation project. Their interest was purely sold on a concrete-style quartz as they wanted to create a rustic approach to their new kitchen.

The Caesarstone Primordia was chosen and what a beautiful stone that is! It’s an oxidised industrial-styled grey rough concrete quartz. It consists of a light concrete-coloured base with mineral splotches of off-whites and veils of greys, reflecting oxidized rusts and washed tones with additional traces of faint yellow and washed green – the perfect choice to complement the exposed wooden beams and stainless steel fixtures.

To complete the look of the worktops we added features such as a full-height splashback, drainer grooves, upstands and a window sill. And of course, our client wanted the matching chopping board!
