Material Used – Cristalos White Quartzite
Working alongside Daniel Ramsay Kitchens in this project, we had the pleasure of contributing to this impressive home on the outskirts of Harpenden, where Cristalos White quartzite takes centre stage throughout the kitchen.
The material is showcased on a substantial central island, thoughtfully detailed with bespoke upstands formed around a structural post, allowing the stone to flow seamlessly within the space’s architecture. The surface continues into the sink area, where a striking window runs all the way down to the worktop, enhanced with gently curved edges that add a sculptural softness and refined elegance.
Cristalos White quartzite is also featured behind the AGA as a bold, full-height splashback, reinforcing its presence across the room. With its bright background, delicate ivory and gold veining, and distinctive crystalline patterns, the stone brings movement, light and a sense of natural artistry. The flowing veins create a statement finish that feels both luxurious and beautifully organic.
