Material Used – Santorini Quartz
This open-plan kitchen in Harpenden is a true celebration of light, natural beauty, and refined materials. Designed and built by our friends at Daniel Ramsay Kitchens, the space is filled with greenery and bathed in daylight, creating a clean, calming aesthetic that instantly feels inviting.
At the heart of the design is our striking Santorini quartz – a marble-inspired surface defined by both darting veins that catch the eye. The island is a statement piece in itself, as it’s been crafted with a 60mm built-up edge and a downstand wrap to the floor, giving it a waterfall-like presence that anchors the entire space. This is becoming a popular feature in the modern kitchen.
The sink continues the beautiful story with a full-height quartz splashback that elevates the clean lines of the design. It seamlessly integrates into a matching quartz open shelf, carefully vein-matched to create a breathtaking, continuous flow across the surfaces. It’s the perfect place to style with decorative pieces that change with the seasons.
This kitchen strikes the perfect balance of drama and harmony, where the bold character of Santorini quartz meets the freshness of natural light and greenery, creating a space of timeless elegance and comfort.
