Specialist porcelain fabrication is more demanding than quartz or granite. Ultra-thin slabs require specific cutting and edging tooling, and bookmatched runs require careful slab pairing. We have the equipment, the experience, and the in-house team. Never outsourced.
All our porcelain worktops carry a minimum 10-year manufacturer warranty, with Dekton extending the longest at certain colours.

- Enquiry and indicative quote. Send us your kitchen plans or visit the Knebworth showroom for slab samples. We respond within 24 hours.
- Free home survey. Our templater visits to laser-measure your kitchen, confirm layout and check fitting access.
- Specialist fabrication in Knebworth. Porcelain requires specific cutting and edging tooling. We have the equipment and the experience.
- Installation. Three to four weeks from template for porcelain, slightly longer than quartz given the fabrication demands.

What is the difference between Dekton and porcelain worktops?
Dekton is a brand of sintered stone, which is the family of materials commonly described as “porcelain worktops”. All Dekton is sintered/porcelain, but not all sintered/porcelain is Dekton. Dekton (made by Cosentino) is the most established brand and offers the longest warranties; Neolith, Laminam, Ascale and Infinity are competing brands within the same material family. We hold all five at our Knebworth showroom.
Can I see porcelain samples at your Hertfordshire showroom?
Yes. Our Knebworth showroom is open Monday to Saturday and holds full slabs and brand samples for every porcelain range we install. It’s the largest stone showroom in Hertfordshire. Use the form above to book a 1-hour slot.
Are porcelain worktops suitable for outdoor kitchens?
Yes. Porcelain is the only worktop material we recommend for outdoor use. It’s UV-stable, frost-resistant, and won’t fade or crack from weather exposure. Dekton and Neolith both have ranges specifically rated for outdoor kitchens and barbecue surrounds.
How quickly can you install a porcelain worktop in Hertfordshire?
Standard Hertfordshire porcelain installations are surveyed within 5 days and installed three to four weeks from template. Slightly longer than quartz given the specialist fabrication, but Knebworth, Stevenage, Welwyn and St Albans tend to be quickest because of fitter proximity.
Can you do bookmatched porcelain slabs?
Yes. Bookmatching is one of porcelain’s standout features: a single visual pattern that flows across two or more slabs for full-wall, full-island or full-splashback statement designs. We have direct experience with Dekton Onirika and Neolith’s marble-effect bookmatched ranges.
