A Week of Worktops in September3 min read

We wanted to show you just an example of a busy week at Cawdor Stone Gallery. We get our fitters to take photographs as they finish the job and send them to the office via a dedicated WhatsApp group. By doing this we all feel more involved as a team. The sales team get to see the stone that is actually installed and gives us a chance to say a personal thank you to our fitters who have looked after our clients with whom we have built a relationship.

Remember these are not professional photos, but our fitters’ phone snaps. Professional photos will come at a later date, when the kitchen is completed and at our client’s convenience.

This particular week in September saw many quartz worktops installed at many properties all over the UK. Here are just a few of the worktops we installed this week. You might even find the perfect one for you!

Forest Garrigue, Installed in Woolmer Green, Herts

A new colour for us and what a pleasure it was to install it to this property, not that far away from the showroom. This is the @quartzforms.spa Forest Garrigue – a uniform dove-grey background, with a fine grain and long blue and white veins that diffuse white and red veins. We fabricated upstands, a windowsill and full-height splashback to the cooking area.

Blanco Glacier, Installed in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire

This week of installations we worked in a larger space in Beaconsfield where our fitting team joined the @niletradingukltd Bianco Glacier beautifully on the huge kitchen island. The stone was fabricated in a 30mm thickness. This quartz is effortless, luxurious and chic and is guaranteed to add instant class and elegance to your home. The crisp white base is topped with sophisticated marbling in multiple hues of grey.

Blanco Norte, Installed in Chafford Hundred

20mm @silestonebycosentino Blanco Norte looks great throughout this home in Chafford Hundred. We fabricated and installed this lovely stone to the kitchen, and utility and added full-height splashbacks, windowsills and drainer grooves. Blanco Norte is a light-coloured off-white quartz that consists of speckles and flecks of a soft brown. The overall effect of this quartz is light and airy and is hugely appealing for a super-stylish kitchen.

Olympos, Installed in Great Raveley

The lovely project in Great Reveley was a small development we recently undertook with @designsbyus_bespokeinteriors using @cimstoneuk Olympos in 30mm thickness. We flowed the same quartz through to the utility too. Olympos from Cimstone is filled with varied shades of grey that makes it a tranquil contribution to your kitchen design. It’s a beautiful stone that evokes the true beauty of natural marble.

Ice Branco, Installed in Stevenage, Herts

@classicquartzstone Ice Branco in a 30mm thickness completes this lovely space in Stevenage. The colours within the stone help to bring together the two different coloured units, while still offering its own little shimmer from the small, tiny sparkles. A bang-on-trend stone that’s perfect for this property.
