We had the pleasure of recently completing one of our client’s homes in Hertfordshire with the mysterious and charming Quartzforms Planet Neptune. This property was only a short distance away from the showroom and underwent a huge renovation that meant the kitchen was on a lower level than the rest of the house. Our client opted for a dark blue kitchen with lighter elements and the bluish veins from the Neptune quartz meant that it was the perfect match.
The choice of copper portraying through the kitchen design really tells a story and starts a conversation with the guests who will enter this wonderful space.
The open-plan space is formed with a galley kitchen, central island and a seating area with a cosy couch. The kitchen island is home to the induction hob and extraction fan and offers our client plenty of worktop space to prepare and cook that delicious dinner. It also acts as a divider for the different zones and acts as an informal seating area with the softest of seats.
To complete the sink area and to maintain the clean and simple look, our client opted for a full-height splashback and drainer grooves. We even added a chopping board for an extra touch too.
