Introducing Primordia 4043 from Caesarstone3 min read

New to the Caesarstone collection is the Primordia. This quartz stone has an organic appearance that reflects topological strata; alluvial layers in stone created over aeons. The natural aspects of this stone are combined with a rough finish known as rough concrete, while celebrating with the beauty of patina reinventing a kitchen design with a striking cooking space, chef-quality appliances and sophisticated accents.

The industrial look of this stone has unique imperfections which is a common theme to each of the colours in the Caesarstone Metropolitan Collection. The cool grey complexion echos the character of concrete giving off a contemporary feel that’s perfect for both modern and traditional homes. The stone is made up of a light grey base, soft mineral marks standing out in off-whites and greys combined with darker veils of grey and brown to reflect the oxidised rusts found in nature. The glowing tones of mustard yellow bring a sense of warmth to the countertop and a new lease of life to the area it is used in.

The visual details of the Primordia evoke the emotion of real stone and is perfectly suited to kitchen worktops, splashbacks and bathroom interiors. When placing the Primordia on an island, the neutral palette is versatile, blending with other materials such as concrete and dark oak flooring.

Jon Stanley who is the VP Marketing for Caesarstone UK says, “There is always a tremendous level of excitement around a new Caesarstone product launch and Primordia illustrates why. Brought to life by our outstanding inhouse R&D and manufacturing team, it applies Caesarstone’s strengths in trend research, design innovation and manufacturing prowess to powerful effect. Absolutely on trend and totally unique, Primordia takes surfaces to the next level.”

This new colour was born from the extensive and continuous research conducted by Caesarstone’s inhouse design team in collaboration with some of the world’s foremost forecasters, and the renowned design and fashion trend guru Li Edelkoort.

The trend book Form Follows Food produced by Caesarstone and Li Edlekoort takes readers on a journey through the design and culinary worlds, exploring how the two have merged.
