In More Detail – Caesarstone 4033 Rugged Concrete1 min read

Following on from the previous blog about ‘the story behind Caesarstone’s work surfaces‘, we wanted to show you one of the cutting-edge designs they produced in their Metropolitan Collection up close in one of our client’s homes. This is 4033 Rugged Concrete, its key reference was from a watercolour painting of the moon – it’s absolutely breathtaking.

They launched the Metropolitan Collection in 2018 as they predicted the rise of urban and industrial aesthetics in domestic interiors. There are 12 designs within the collection each with a unique cutting-edge style. Caesarstone has been at the forefront of the stone industry since the 1980s and they have continually innovated in both aesthetics and performance.

This idyllic country cottage in Hertfordshire has been installed with the Caesarstone 4033 Rugged Concrete – a concrete grey with dramatic gradients, flushed with white-haze patinas and industrial-inspired imperfection that are accentuated by a deep textured finish. It certainly looks appealing amongst the historic features of this property.

We fabricated and installed this concrete effect quartz in the cooking area. We completed it with upstands and added a chopping board.

Wow, look at the detail in the stone! You can really see the white-haze patinas throughout the surface.

On the other side of this kitchen design, we find the gorgeous concrete quartz completing the sink area.
