*NEW* Dekton® Stonika Collection by Cosentino4 min read

Introducing the new Dekton® XGloss collection… Stonika. A collection that blends with nature to create classic colours of a hyper-realistic beauty. The collection is full of vibrant veined patterns and textures made with the highest technological performance of a revolutionary surface.

Dekton® by Cosentino is the ultimate surface for kitchen worktops, highly resistant to stains, scratches and heat, and available in a wide range of colours. They are designed to suit all kitchen styles, we are sure you will find the perfect one. Made from a proprietary blend of natural quartz stone, porcelain, and glass, this raw material is fused and compressed under high pressure to create a stone that is very dense and compact.

The process used to engineer Dekton® is called ‘sintering’.

What Dekton® worktops include:

  • Hyperrealist Design

There is no need for the use of a thick vitreous layer, as Dekton® XGloss Stonika technology allows for better clarity and realism of the designs, meaning the image is not distorted.

  • Thermal and Scratch Resistance

Dekton® Stonika retains the same scratch properties as other polished colours, so the base and the surface react in the same way to temperature changes, avoiding common cracks caused by the difference in expansion between the two elements.

  • Perfect Edges

The Dekton® Stonika stone has a surface layer that is almost imperceptible due to its depth, the thinnest on the market, which fuses with the base to perfection creating a single more compact and resistant material. It’s a unique stone, unlike other products where a glassy layer is discernable.

Let’s take a look below at the range of colours from the collection.

Olimpo

Olimpo from the Stonika collection is inspired by the highest-quality Carrara. It’s definitely for the most discerning tastes, where the colour shows the elegance of greyish veins on top of a white background which enhances its details with a dazzling sheen.

Taga

Taga from the Stonika collection is inspired by the quartzite of the Taj Mahal. An interpretation adapted to current trends while maintaining the character of natural stone. The natural structure is enhanced by the greyish tones with marble and crystalline veins, with a splendid sheen and aesthetic quality that make it a premium model.

Arga

Arga from the Stonika collection is inspired by the quartzite of the Taj Mahal. A luxurious natural stone with a smooth cream background and subtle brown-gold veins to intensify the dramatic structure. A hyperrealist graphic, with a dazzling sheen, gives depth and richness to this material.

Bergen

Bergen from the Stonika collection is inspired by natural Portobello stone. It strives for perfection in tone, structure and depth. The beauty of its greyish veins with a sculptural pattern, on an off-white base. A bold design loaded with personality and elegance.

Tundra

Tundra from the Stonika XGloss Collection by Dekton, Cosentino is inspired by the beauty of marble. Tundra recreates its characteristic veining in a silver grey tone on the white base.

Khalo

Khalo from the Stonika XGloss Collection by Dekton, Cosentino is inspired by Patagonia Natural Stone, one of the most appreciated granites worldwide for its genuine formation and colours. The subtle spots of black, pale gold and coffee brown compose the innovative hue. Thanks to the polished finish with Dekton Xgloss technology, the colourway achieves a spectacular shine and depth boosting its complex and colourful structure.

Helena

Helena from the Stonika XGloss Collection by Dekton, Cosentino features a translucent appearance of white and grey hues, this colourway is inspired by onyx natural stone.

Halo

Halo from the Stonika Xgloss Collection is a broken white, with subtle shades of grey. Soft and bright as the reflection of an unpolluted crystal.

Natura

Natura from the Stonika Xgloss Collection replicates the quintessential style of marble with soft grey veining accentuating the classic white surface, it also boasts a lustrous polished finish. With all the benefits of Dekton’s technical characteristics, the striking colour’s reflective nature is due to the nano-technological treatment and mechanical polishing process it undergoes, resulting in a crystal-like shine.
