A Week of Worktops in December3 min read

We wanted to show you just an example of a busy week at Cawdor Stone Gallery. We get our fitters to take photographs as they finish the job and send them to the office via a dedicated WhatsApp group. By doing this we all feel more involved as a team. The sales team get to see the stone that is actually installed and gives us a chance to say a personal thank you to our fitters who have looked after our clients with whom we have built a relationship.

Remember these are not professional photos, but our fitters’ phone snaps. Professional photos will come at a later date, when the kitchen is completed and at our client’s convenience.

This particular week in December saw plenty of quartz worktops being installed, as well as a granite worktop and a special feature. Here are just a few of the worktops we fitted this week. You might even find the perfect one for you!

Brillo Branco, Installed in Harpenden, Herts

@classicquartzstone Brillo Branco in a 30mm fabricated and installed in this Hertfordshire property. We even completed the utility too. This lovely stone features small mirrored pieces, which is such a classic style.

Calacatta Nuvo, Installed in Hertfordshire

How good does this @cimstoneuk Calacatta Nuvo look with an Ogee edge? We added a full-height splashback behind the cooker area too. This gorgeous design features light grey veins and elegant gold striking ones that dart through a crisp white surface.

Snowfall, Installed in Thriplow, Cambridgeshire

@graniteslabsuk Snowfall in a 30mm thickness looks so good in this kitchen area. Snowfall is a polished, natural granite imported from Brazil. This pristine, snowy white granite is embedded with ebony and charcoal and kissed with clouds of tawny, warm fawn. The design is a gorgeous choice.

Titanium White, Installed in Stevenage, Herts

We are big fans of Titanium White Leather quartz from @stoneworldlondon. We added waterfall edges to the main run of cabinets as well as the island which encapsulates the units wonderfully. Filled with beautiful grey and white tones, this versatile stone looks good in both traditional and modern homes.

Calacatta Venato, Installed in Welwyn Garden City, Herts

In this week of installations, the @cimstoneuk Calacatta Venato in a 30mm thickness creates this beautiful kitchen space. With a full-height splashback, it makes a stunning feature along the back wall. A warm light grey vein on a creamy white background makes up this stone.

Dorado, Installed in Woburn Sands

This is the special feature we were talking about, something a little different. This is @crlstone Dorado in a 20mm thickness that has been installed and fabricated to sit around the cooking area. Dorado quartz consists of dramatic veining which makes a perfect statement and draws the eye. It will bring elegance to proceedings whether used as a splashback or as a waterfall on the kitchen island.
