We wanted to show you just an example of a busy week at Cawdor Stone Gallery. We get our fitters to take photographs as they finish the job and send them to the office via a dedicated WhatsApp group. By doing this we all feel more involved as a team. The sales team get to see the stone that is actually installed and gives us a chance to say a personal thank you to our fitters who have looked after our clients with whom we have built a relationship.
Remember these are not professional photos, but our fitters’ phone snaps. Professional photos will come at a later date, when the kitchen is completed and at our client’s convenience.
This particular week in November saw plenty of quartz worktops being installed. Here are just a few of the worktops we fitted this week. You might even find the perfect one for you!
Cold Springs, Installed in Hertford, Herts
A special installation of the fabulous Expression Quartz, Cold Springs in this property in Hertford. This was a lovely little project as we changed the worktops to this stunning stone that is full-bodied and features sparkly flecks too. It bought the kitchen bang up to date and matched the other design aesthetics that are seen in the space. Features include upstands, a full-height splashback behind the hob, an extended upstand at the sink area, drainer grooves, chopping boards and a section in the utility.
Cemento Matt, Installed in Chelmsford, Essex
Matt finishes are ever-increasing in popularity and it’s easy to see why with @cimstoneuk’s Cemento Matt. In this week of installations, we saw the team take a journey to Chelmsford to install this lovely grey stone with a cement-like surface that adds a tremendous character to any space. Features included waterfall ends on the island and a full-height splashback.
Planet Mars, Installed in Chelmsford, Essex
Dark and moody but ever so pretty, @quartzforms.spa Planet Mars is simply gorgeous in this new project in Chelmsford. This thickly veined pattern is inspired by an extra-terrestrial landscape and is ideal for a variety of interiors. Mars is made up of a brown/black backdrop with gold and white veins running through. We completed the kitchen in a U-shape with upstands, an extended upstand and drainer grooves to the sink area.
Primordia, Installed in St Albans, Herts
Now that’s an island top! @caesarstone_uk Primordia with its great industrial look completed this hub of the home in St Albans. Primordia is a light concrete colour with mineral splotches of off-white and veils of greys. There are also oxidized rusts and washed tones found throughout the stone.
