Our client in Hitchin chose a quartz worktop to complete their brand new kitchen. They had an idea of what they wanted and chose the ever so popular Carrara quartz. It’s a timeless marble style that works with both traditional and contemporary interiors offering a man-made product that is scratch resistant and extremely durable.
It was very important that the surface they chose was highly practical for family use while creating the look they wanted. The Carrara quartz is the perfect option, as it provides all the benefits of the quartz stone but will all the beauty of a natural stone.
The dark cabinets at the bottom and the lighter hue wall cabinets look sensational in this open-plan space. The choice of worktops separates the two-tone colour scheme and gives the overall kitchen a classy look.
We fabricated this wonderful breakfast bar in two pieces that fit elegantly to the central column.
The kitchen is made up of an L-shaped layout, not just straight runs, many edges to work around the walls of the property. We completed the worktops with upstands and drainer grooves at the sink area and even included a windowsill.
To finish the kitchen design, we presented our clients with a chopping board/pot stand made from the same material as their worktops for an additional feature.
We created a separate section too, below the microwave for an additional work surface area for this busy family kitchen.
