Dekton® Pietra Kode Collection by Cosentino4 min read

Pietra Kode designed by Daniel Germani – “For this collection, I spent a lot of time decoding each stone’s history in Italian architecture and reimagined them in a contemporary design with all the benefits of Dekton. Pietra Kode is a collection that showcases luxury in the small, understated details. It’s designed with the future in mind and compliments any space in a way that won’t go out of style.”

This collection reimagines classic stones into a contemporary beauty with the high performance of Dekton®. Each colour is inspired by Italian architecture with an eye for the future and the vision comes from renowned designer and architect Daniel Germani.

Pietra Kode by Dekton reinterprets the timeless beauty of three classic Italian stones: Vicenza, Travertine and Ceppo di Gré. Each of these antique natural stones is decoded and then recoded within three Dekton concrete series, enhancing their properties and the many possibilities for architecture and design. Each of the colours breathes contemporary elegance into a kitchen design, with the rich shades and textures creating a sensory experience beyond what the eye can see.

Let’s take a look at the seven hues that make up Pietra Kode and channel the influence of Vicenza stone, Travertine and Milan’s iconic Ceppo di Gré.

Gk07 Ceppo

Gk07 Ceppo from Dekton features a distinctive blue-grey multiform structure of the Italian Ceppo di Gré stone which inspires this unique colour. Ideal for both indoors and outdoors, its timeless design makes it a perfect choice for a classic or modern look.

Tk05 Sabbia

Tk05 Sabbia from Dekton features a vein which recreates Italian travertine. The beautiful vein runs through each piece in a random and colourful way, enriching it with nuances. This attractive recoding of the colour of natural stone enhances the strength of its original design, endowing it with incomparable beauty and resistance, perfect for a rustic or natural style.

Tk06 Marmorio

Tk06 Marmorio from Dekton is filled with a light striped structure with filled pores, which gives an elegant, bright and lightweight look to any design. It is inspired by Travertino Navona, a natural stone quarried near Tivoli, east of Rome.

Vk01 Nebbia

Vk01 Nebbia from Dekton is a creamy base dotted with warm taupe hues and fine grain. This versatile colour is ideal for façades, floors and any interior and exterior cladding. This gorgeous stone is a reinterpretation of the texture of Grigio Alpi, a variety with macrofossils of the Vicenza Stone which has been quarried since Roman times. Its design makes it particularly suitable for applications where pattern continuity at the edges is required.

Vk02 Avorio

Vk02 Avorio from Dekton is a light beige shade with an extremely natural finish. It is inspired by the eponymous Avorio stone, an Italian material characterised by the presence of fossil shells. Its design makes it particularly suitable for applications where pattern continuity at the edges is required.

Vk03 Grigio

Vk03 Grigio from Dekton is a grey colour scheme filled with warm nuances and blends perfectly with cream, wood and taupe tones. It draws its inspiration from Grigio Alpi, a variety with macrofossils of the Vicenza Stone made popular by the Renaissance architect Andrea Palladio, who use it in his villas and palaces in the Veneto region, mainly in the province of Vicenza. Its design makes it particularly suitable for applications where pattern continuity at the edges is required.

Vk04 Grafite

Vk04 Grafite features a dark background with a mix of black and grey interspersed with whitish and reddish cloud-like patches, reinterprets the texture of dark, fine-grained limestone. Its design makes it particularly suitable for applications where pattern continuity at the edges is required.
