In More Detail – Caesarstone 4011 Cloudburst Concrete3 min read

Recently completed in this delightful home in Stevenage, we fabricated and installed the light and airy Caesarstone 4011 Cloudburst Concrete to the worktops.

The Caesarstone’s Metropolitan Collection has been designed to reflect the authentic patinas of industrial materials. The variations that are found in the appearance of these stones capture real depth and movement, revealing different qualities that make each slab unique. This collection leads the industrial trend and that is where you will find Cloudburst Concrete. Each design has a rough and unpolished bold look to form parts of the revival modernism, a rethinking of brutalism and the rekindling of industrial architecture.

Caesarstone was founded in 1987 and was the pioneer of the natural quartz surfaces market. For more than a decade they have set new standards in innovation and craftsmanship and continues to set the trends in the industry. Whether they are developing new technologies and production processes that allow them to create breakthrough designs or working with the world’s leading designers to generate new concepts, Caesarstone has a passion for innovation that is unmatched in the field.

Different textures, finishes and new designs have been created by them to put a unique stamp on your room and create an interior that is strikingly different from any other.

Not that far away from the showroom, we find ourselves amongst a kitchen renovation filled with modern handleless cabinets, a gradient of grey hues, long-lasting and wonderful quartz worktops and a mixture of metals.

The kitchen layout is double galley-style with us only needing to supply two slabs of stone – one for the kitchen island and one for the main kitchen run. The texture and movement within the beauty of this stone complement the modern handleless furniture perfectly and make it pleasing to the eye.

Our client has certainly created a spectacular summer kitchen where huge bi-fold doors take up the end wall and bring the outdoors in. So when wining and dining with friends you won’t ever feel left out if you are the one that’s cooking because both spaces can be united as one.

The white-on-white look with a tonal cloud delivers a unique look and looks great next to those copper elements, fresh fruit and gorgeous yellow flowers. You can also see we added a hot plate in the same stone material so our client could work at ease dishing up from those hot pans.

Just look at that induction hob too it looks so sleek. The light bounces all around the kitchen space from the reflective surfaces and provides a light and bright hub of the home.

This shot is something special. Not only does it show off the main kitchen run but it allows you to see that special translucent glow of warmth, depth and movement that Caesarstone quartz is known for.

No rules were created here when it came to the different metals, colours and materials. This kitchen design works together in creating a happy place for our clients. How good does this design look with the dark cabinets, light concrete tops and stunning copper tap?

Drainer grooves were added to the sink area to help liquids escape the flat surface.
