This sumptuous dark-chocolate base quartz completed with a bold-yet-graceful earthy veining is simply breathtaking for this handmade bar designed and built by @planetfurnitureltd – a family-owned business who have been creating beautiful, bespoke kitchens and fine-fitted furniture for over 20 years.
When walking into this space it actually feels like you are out out, stepping into some luxurious bar but when in fact this is part of someone’s home, we certainly want an invite! Just look at how beautiful it sits in the corner, dark and sultry just how our client wanted it, with touches of gold tones poking through and lots of materials such as the brick wall and exposed wooden beams. It calls out luxe and industrial vibes.

We think the photos speak for themselves but let’s talk more in-depth about the worktops used. The worktops are @caesarstone_uk 6338 Woodlands – A dance of bold-yet-graceful earthy veining, drifting across a sumptuous dark-chocolate base. It even sounds tempting!
It comes from the Supernatural collection where the marble-inspired surface designs highlight the exquisite appearance of a natural stone by showcasing bold colours, intricate veins and complex textures.
To create the overhang of the bar we fabricated the stone at a 40mm thickness. The bar ledge can be used for standing and socialising, sitting and socialising or a place to serve up drinks and nibbles.
An extended upstand was added to two walls behind the sink area and shelving unit and we added a handy shelf for the spirits and cocktail mixers, which really sets it off.
We also completed their kitchen with Calacatta Gold.
